MiXED MEDIA ARTIST
I am a mixed media artist based in Cornwall. Living here, surrounded by the dramatic Cornish coastline and the tranquil moorlands has deeply influenced my work
I have been passionate about art since school, where I first studied the subject, and later went on to complete a creative degree at University. When I'm not working in a school, you will usually find me painting.
I specialise in Mixed media art, using a variety of materials to create textured pieces that capture the essence of these natural surroundings.
My work is a constant exploration. I love experimenting with different mediums to create layers, depth and movement. Each piece is a reflection of my connection to the environment and I enjoy the process of bringing the rough, rugged textures of nature into my art. I am constantly experimenting with new techniques and materials and am excited to share that journey with you.
About Me:
About the Products:
Each piece on this website is an original piece. The collections reflect a journey through colour, texture and abstraction where no two artworks are the same. While the core style remains expressive and abstract, the mood, palette and energy shifts with the seasons.
The paintings are created on both stretched canvas and canvas paper. The paintings all vary in size and more information about individual paintings can be found in their product description.
All works are created using mixed media techniques, combining acrylics, brusho, watercolour, oil as well as products to create texture such as cold pressed wax and texture paste to name a few. Each piece is one-of-a-kind expression, celebrating imperfection, experimentation and the beauty of abstraction.
Where you can Find My work:
Currently i am Displaying work in Bodmin Gallery and Creative Studios in Cornwall. These pieces along with all my other work s have been inspired by home, a place I know. Home, for me, is rooted in the quiet expanse of the moors and the constant presence of the coast, places that feel like my happiest most grounding spaces. The wide skies, shifting weather and ‘edge of land’ feeling offer comfort and freedom, but they also carry a deeper weight of memory and change. This has made home feel less like a fixed place and more like a layered emotional landscape. While it is a source of peace and belonging, it is also complex, shaped by time, distance and personal history. This tension is something I am increasingly drawn to explore through painting.
